The dream is for the young dancer to walk away loving themselves more than they ever knew they could, loving dance more than they ever knew they could. And seeing themselves with great power, seeing their point of view matter, seeing their story matter, and knowing that their voice matters. The dream is also for the young dancer to stand next to all the other dancers without judgment, with camaraderie, with the truth, and knowing that lifting someone else up only lifts ourselves up. And knowing that we can do this as a community. And that is not it's not a solo game and there's no competition in the heart.
