Meet The Mentor: Draico
Dondraico Johnson has been attributed with creating for, inspiring, and working with many of the entertainment industry's influential performing artists. His proficiency has garnered an Emmy nomination for outstanding choreography for his work in GENIUS: THE ARETHA FRANKLIN STORY. After establishing himself as one of LA's premier dancers, Dondraico turned his sights to choreography. His expertise has allowed him to help create a movement for such artists as Madonna, Miley Cyrus, Britney Spears, Ricky Martin, Jennifer Lopez, Laura Marano, and even the legend himself, Michael Jackson.
Feature film credits include GHOSTBUSTERS, HAUNTED MANSION, STEP UP 3D, STEP UP REVOLUTION, and Michael Jackson's THIS IS IT. In television, the FX series AMERICAN CRIME STORY: THE PEOPLE VS. OJ SIMPSON, AMERICAN CRIME STORY: VERSACE, and many more. He has worked on every major award show on television. He is proud to say that he helped create a movement for clients ranging from Heidi Klum, Nickelodeon, Disney, Super Bowl, Grammy's, and Academy Award. He has choreographed and conceptualized memorable dance scenes throughout his career and continues to make remarkable strides.
