Julia Pearson has been a dance instructor for the past 25 years, specializing in teaching hundreds of children weekly (ages 2-10yrs) in ballet, tap, and jazz. Ms. Julia has been a resident instructor at Danceology in San Diego, winner of 2022 Studio of the Year (The Dance Awards). She has coached & taught competitive dancers for the last two decades including national title winners, award-winning mini groups, and tik tok sensations.
In 2023, Ms. Julia joined KMAgency as a mentor. She has a passion and desire to inspire and educate dance studio owners and their faculty to develop dance programs for children that will capture the heart of their communities. Ms. Julia created the Dance L.I.T.E. Method, a video based inspirational tool for dance educators to learn the unique skills of teaching tiny tot dance. She’s sharing exactly how to create the most popular preschool ballet program in town!
Ms. Julia has played an instrumental role in developing a student Mentorship Program, Tots Classes, Diva Division, Dance Camps, and more specifically at her home studio, Danceology. She was honored with Citizen of Excellence award in 2020 for her work with Adaptive dance class for the past 15 years, teaching dancers with special needs and Down Syndrome and those that would have exceptional abilities.
She holds a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership and brings a wealth of wisdom and experience to the dance community. Ms. Julia is the author of the Miss Juju & Her Tutu ballet book series which encourages little ones to find delight in dance class. She cultivates a warm and inviting learning atmosphere while providing the structure to teach true technique. She has taught thousands of children and trained teachers across the country to do the same.
