Meet The Mentor: Kelly Molnar

Kelly began training at the Studio "C" School of Performing Arts in Downey, CA training under Dennis and Tina Caspary. She has trained in Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, and Ballet. Kelly attended Orange County High School of The Arts her senior year, after graduating high school she began taking classes at the Edge Performing Arts Center, Jimmy DeFore Dance Center, and Millennium Dance Complex studying under LA's best teachers and choreographers. These teachers include, Wes Veldink, Terry Lindholm, Terry Beeman, Ray Leeper just to name a few.

Kelly was signed with then agency KSA and worked on many industrial shows, commercials and was a featured dancer for Disney, before she found her passion as a teacher. Kelly began Directing Onstage Dance Center in Southern California 26 years ago, teaching jazz and lyrical. Kelly works with the local high school dance programs and is the head technique coach  for Millikan High School’s dance program in Long Beach, CA. She has judged for Countdown National Dance Competition and KAR Dance Competition and has taught Master Classes and workshops in Southern California. Some of Kelly’s students have gone on to dance professionally and also dance for major college teams.

Kelly’s goal is to help all dancers reach the greatest version of themselves. She wants to make every dancer feel worthy and important, while sharing her love for dance. Her goal as an educator is to make each dancer find their true self through music and movement.
